Welcome! Let me tell you about myself and my dental practice. I graduated from Columbia-Presbyterian School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1976, and then did a two year internship and residency at the well known Sydenham Hospital in Harlem. Having studied under some of the most prominent dentists of our city, I established my own practice in Sheepshead Bay, Brooklyn in 1978. I have been serving the community since then; although our practice, I’m proud to say attracts individuals from all over the metropolitan area, Long Island and New Jersey. We have become known for providing personal, caring and beautiful dentistry in a non-painful way to patients of all ages. I am skilled in treating the elderly and have been on the staff of several nursing homes: these include the New York Congregational Home and the Cobble Hill Health and Nursing Center.
On the personal side, I have been married to Stephanie for thirty-eight years. Stephanie is also our very skillful and efficient insurance and office manager. She is a great advocate for our patients with insurance companies. Incidentally, we do accept, either in part or in full many insurance plans.
I also have two wonderful grown children, Richard and Lillie. Richard is an attorney and Lillie is studying to be a music therapist. My interests are varied. I love classical music and reading and love visiting the East End of Long Island with its vineyards, farms and beaches.
Today, dentistry is an exciting field to be in. We provide our patients with the latest in cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry. I love doing veneers, whitening, and cosmetic inlays in collaboration with many of the world’s greatest labs (most linked on the website - check them out). I come from a family of artists, so I bring that inborn skill to my work as well.
Please visit us and leave your preconceptions and fears about dentistry at home. You are about to experience a different positive approach to achieving oral health. See you soon.
